Basic Blue Button Down and Blue Jean Shorts for Spring
I’ve always ben a big fan of the basics, especially for summer and spring. Lately, I’ve been wearing this oversized basic blue button down and blue jeans shorts non-stop due to the warm weather outside. I never thought spring would arrive in Paris, but miraculously it has and I couldn’t be happier.
My new go to piece for spring has been oversized tops. I originally thought an oversized top would be extremely hot on these warm days, but it’s actually quite the opposite. Since the material doesn’t stick to your skin it’s actually very cooling.
As many of you know, I love the brand 1-2-3 Paris. I received many pieces this winter that I wore for layering. When the spring / summer collection came out earlier this year, I was blown away and wanted everything from the collection.
Being petite I was initially worried about the fact the sizes start at 36, but rest assure that they fit very well. For this spring look, I styled the oversized blue button down with light blue jean shorts. I love the fact that it’s 100% Viscose. I tucked the front of the skirt in and then left the back of the shirt loose. By tucking it in I created a more fitted look.
To finish the look I wore basic nude Stuart Weizman sandals. I’ve had these sandals for years, and I wear them all the time. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a classic sandal.
