summer attire for Paris

How to dress during the summer in Paris is always a tricky question to answer. Summer in Paris is always scorching; it’s funny because every year Parisians always claim it’s never this warm. Yet, the 3 years I’ve been here it’s always been super hot in the summer, we are talking high 90s F (High 20s and low 30s C). One of the things I always struggle with is how to stay chic in this heat. Today, I’m sharing with you 3 chic summer outfits to wear this season to combat the heat in Paris.

Carla Mini Dress Flynn Skye

CARLA BLUE MINI DRESS

One trend I’ve been noticing a lot this season is off the shoulder sleeves, dresses, etc. I decided to style this Carla Mini dress by moving the sleeves to my shoulders. I feel that it gives the dress a more casual look, which is perfect for walking around the city. During the nighttime, I paired the dress with a white denim jacket. Every time I wear this dress I get so many questions about it and where it’s from, you can even see I wore it here to make my customize perfume. I definitely recommend this dress. I ordered a size XS and it fit perfectly. I do recommend if you are larger in the chest area to go up one size.

NUDE LACE CAMISOLE – UNDER $35

One of my favorite staple pieces is a satin lace camisole (You may remember I wore a red one here). I love the way you can layer the camisole or just wear them as a stand alone piece. I adore this nude camisole and have been wearing it since it arrived in the mail. I ordered it in a size XS in the color nude (comes off more like a light pink). Keep in mind when ordering this camisole that the straps aren’t adjustable. This camisole is true to size. I wore this camisole again last week at the Galeries Lafayette rooftop you can see here.

PINK ROMPER – UNDER $40

The Romper trend is something I’ve loved since they first started becoming popular. I was envious of everyone who could wear one. I’ve always had a difficult time finding a romper that fits me due to my height. Typically they are too long in the legs and are almost impossible to alter. (Trust me, I’ve ordered many rompers and sent them back due to sizing)

I saw this romper on the NA-KD website in a size XXS and my gut was telling me it would fit. Luckily for me, it fit perfect with no alterations needed. I recommend ordering a size down, normally I’m an XS but I ordered a size XXS.

I’m super excited to offer my readers an additional 30% off your entire purchase at NA-KD using my discount code petiteinparis30 during checkout. Plus they offer free shipping world-wide!
