I was so excited when I had the opportunity to celebrate Galentine’s Day with Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann; a day filled with pampering! After I posted my “Galentine’s Day” Instagram photo I received many messages asking what is Galentine’s Day. Galentine’s Day is a day of celebrating sisterhood, but it doesn’t only have to be between sisters, it can be between mothers and daughters, or friends. Having a girl’s day has always been acceptable, but now ladies there is a day specifically dedicated to it!
My Galentine’s day began with a mini – facial from Clarins. This was exactly what I needed to relax. The Clarins team was extremely friendly and helpful by explaining the products they were applying to my face as well as the benefits I would receive from them. After my mini facial, I was able to discover their make-up. They gave me a makeover and explained how to apply each of their products they were using on my face. I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result.
While I was receiving my mini facial and makeover, the other ladies were receiving their treatment from Lancôme and Saint Laurent. The beauty section is located on the ground floor of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann and carries 172 different beauty brands! I’m always discovering new brands and products in this department.
After we were beautified, we headed to lunch at Angelina’s located on the 1st floor of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. During lunch we shared stories of how we arrived in Paris, talked about our life, and bonded over a wonderful meal shared between friends. The meal at Angelina’s was incredible which started with a lovely salad, then a fish dish, and finally finished with one of their famous desserts and a champagne toast. They even have a special Valentine’s Day menu!
After lunch, we headed up to the rooftop. Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann has one of the most incredible views of the city. When my parents came to visit a few months ago, I wanted them to experience some of the most beautiful views of Paris and this was my first choice. Not only is the view incredible, they also have an igloo bar located on the rooftop. Galentine’s Day with Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann was an experience that I will always remember and am so grateful to be a part of. If you’re visiting Paris, or if you live in Paris, I highly recommend that you head over to Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann for an authentic Parisian experience!
