The details of the four different suites of La Maison d'à Côté have been carefully thought of with great character and taste. Each suite has its own theme: leather, scales, feathers, and wood. All the suites are comfortable, lush and with unique character shown which is shown in the bespoke furniture, specifically designed for the hotel.  The 377 sq. ft. “Plume” (which is French for feather) suite is perfect for families with a pull-out sofa in addition to a king-sized bed while the junior suite “Ecailles”  (or Scales) overlooks the village church which makes for the ultimate experience.

If you're looking to explore a little bit more of France while on your Parisian “holiday”, La Maison d'à Côté is a must-see. It's only a two and a half hour drive from Paris and 600 feet from the Loire River. The bike path will invite you to discover the banks of a wild and photogenic river. If you manage to get out of your cocoon, the castle of Chambord will surely amaze you, especially at sunrise hidden behind the mist of the early morning fog.

The gourmet restaurant of La Maison d'à Côté has two Michelin stars, and is known well beyond the region between connoisseurs, epicureans, and also those curious to discover the local cuisine. The talented and passionate chef Christophe Hay sources his ingredients from a 33,000 sq. ft. permaculture garden he created himself on the property with the help of a full time employed gardener, Christophe is able to produce more interesting and even forgotten vegetables and even harvests his own flowers and honey. Every vegetable and fruit is carefully and perfectly timed for each planting and is highly anticipated with every arrival for the future menu. His other products such as Wagyu beef, which he raises and transforms himself, along with the caviar he uses for his take on the traditional radish/bread/butter dish are all very selectively and locally sourced.
