The Classic White Button Down Everyone Needs in their Wardrobe: From Work to Play

Like many of you out there, in addition to fashion blogging, I work at a job that requires me to dress professional. I’m always searching for the perfect transitional piece that will take me from work to play. I don’t always have time to take a change of clothes with me when I go meet up with friends after work.
I’ve always been a big fan of purchasing pieces that can be multifunctional. This classic white cotton silk button down blend by Comptoir Des Cotonniers is the perfect piece that can take you from work to play. This cotton silk top button down is perfect as a standalone shirt, or under a suit. I tucked into my jean shorts to create a more fitted look.
I paired this top with denim shorts for walking around Paris, if you don’t already have a pair of comfy jean shorts, I highly recommend you purchasing a pair. On the weekends, sometimes I feel like I live in my denim shorts. I’m currently wearing blank nyc denim, they fit me perfectly, but I will give the disclaimer that the waistband doesn’t stretch, so be mindful of this when purchasing.
To accessorize this outfit, I grabbed my new pair of sunnies and watch by Kapten & Son, a straw hat to block the sun, and my new favorite tie up pink wedges by splendid. Is anyone else loving the mirror sunnies trend these days? I definitely do!
