Let the good times roll! Inside Galeries Lafayette experience the “music machine.” You may be thinking what exactly is the music machine. From now until June 24th Galeries Lafayette has transformed their store and window displays to a musical celebration, tribute, and even offers master classes for anyone who is interested in learning more about music.
Step inside the 1st floor to experience the music magic designed by famous DJ Pedro Winter. Pedro Winter founded Ed Banger Records label in 2003, which includes many electro artists.
When you first walk inside the Music factory you be blow away by the entire record gallery on the left, which holds over 2000 records. Transform yourself back in time as you experience all different types of music genres. I could spend hours sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying my favorite music.
Once you walk out of the record room you will walk out to a wide-open space, here you can pop on some headphones, use the phones provided to listen to your favorite tunes. There is a large sitting area with comfy pillows that can even double as a mini skate part for the youngsters.
Each month of the music factory will be hosting a new showcase and master class. Disclaimer these classes are in French. However, if you don’t speak French there is a still ton for you to do in the music factory.
Don’t forget to check out the gorgeous window displays outside the building also designed by Pedro Winter and take your photo in the photo booth in the music machine on the first floor.
