BonAppetour Dinner

BonAppetour is my new favorite hidden gem in Paris. It is a platform that allows travelers to have an one of a kind experience dining at a local’s flat. Some call it the Airbnb of dining. I absolutely adore the concept.
We arrived in this gorgeous high ceiling flat where our lovely host greeted us with sprinkling wine and appetizers to die for. In total there were 6 of us who attended. As we gathered around the couch, we shared stories of how we came to Paris, laughed, and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company.

When dinner was ready, our host escorted us into her kitchen table where we were seated at a beautifully set table. We began with our first dish, a cheese appetizer. This incredible cheese dish was a family secret passed down from generation, something only a true Parisian could really make.

Next came the main dish, a chicken and vegetable soup. This soup was fitting for the cool fall nights. The soup was bursting with flavor. Perfectly spiced to add that zest to the soup.

The meal ended with a gorgeous and tasty dish called Poire en Sucre, a traditional pear dessert. I'll let you guess which part was my favorite.

As the night carried on we continue to share stories, drink more wine, and created a lasting friendships, that bonded by this unique experience.
My favorite part of the entire concept is no experience is going to be the same. Our host bought fresh food from the market that day. For anyone who lives in Paris or simply visiting, I highly recommend BonAppetour. It’s super easy to sign up: simply go to their website, choose a location, and the type of meal you’d like to enjoy. BonAppetour is not just for Paris; they have locations throughout the world!
