In my opinion, there are main reasons why the Delsey Chatelet luggage is how stylish it is, how secure it is and durability it is, and the break stop feature on the bag!
Easily my favorite thing about the suitcase is the look and the design. Delsey Chatelet luggage is so stylish, I always get compliments when I wear them in the airport. These suitcases are used in popular TV Shows and movies.
In addition, the Delsey Chatelet Suitcase being chic, there are also have a lot of practical features that I love. As someone who travels alone for work frequently, I want to make sure my belongings are safe and secure inside my suitcase. The Delsey Chatelet luggage is super secure and offers a double lock system. You can use the outside 3 digital code that’s built into the suitcase, and an opening to add a TSA secure lock you can buy at Target. I find that when I use both locks, my suitcase doesn’t get searched, which I like.
The 3rd reason why the Delsey is worth splurging on is the break stop on the bag. Probably one of the less known or talked about features of the Delsey Chatelet bag, but it’s definitely one of my favorites. I love how when you’re on a ramp, escalator, or even if you are just standing and don’t want the suitcase to move, you can push the break on the suitcases and it won’t roll away from you.
There are a few other features that I like, but weren’t game changers for me when I went to purchase luggage, the suitcases are water-resistant, comes with laundry bags, and oftentimes they release special edition Châtelet bags, like this one I purchased for the French Open.
Cons about the Delsey Chatelet Luggage
There aren't many things I don't love about my White Delsey Chatelet Luggage. In fact, there is only one thing that comes to mind… and that is The White Delsey suitcases get dirty so easily. Which, if we are being honest, that's to be expected when traveling on an airplane. It is important to note that my brown, black, and special edition Delsey Châtelet Luggage don't get as dirty as the white ones.
How to clean your White Delsey Luggage
You may be wondering, what is the best way to clean your White Delsey Luggage? I’ve owned my White Delsey Chatelet Suitcases for a while now, and let me tell you, these suitcases don’t look as white and pretty as the day I bought them, but that's to be expected with any suitcase. I find myself cleaning my white suitcase after a flight. For those of you who already own a White Delsey Chatelet suitcase, I recommend using a magic erase to clean it or a simple Clorox wipe.
If you don’t want to bother cleaning the White Delsey Chatelet suitcase after your flight, which I must admit is time-consuming to get all the stains out. I found this clear plastic suitcase cover that will fit over your Delsey Suitcases! This Cover is an absolute game changer when it comes to covering your suitcase and keeping it white. Sure, there are times it can still get a bit dirty, but overall this has saved me so much time from cleaning the suitcase. The only downside is the side handle of the cover is on the wrong side. But it’s such a small price to pay for keeping your Delsey Suitcase white and clean looking.
If you don't want to bother with cleaning your suitcase, I definitely recommend avoiding the white one. There are several other great colors you can choose from.
