My favorite thing about Labor Day Weekend is finding clothing items I love on sale, and this post is full of sales! 🙂

So when I discovered this gorgeous white Sanctuary lace top on sale for $20, I knew I had to order it. This is the perfect top for the summer to fall transition. Given that the top is a little low cut with the lace, I layered it with a nude cami.

Investing in staple pieces has always been my go-to plan for building a wardrobe. This top can be worn as a stand alone, with a jacket, or even a vest. I decided to pair it with my favorite leather coat and dark ray-ban sunnies to add a more edgy look. Adding in lace-up shoes gave the look that high fashion look.     My dear, you look lovely in this. I love the way you have layered this outfit using levels (short jacket over longer top) and textures (leather over lace). It’s my favorite way to layer. Works beautifully for us petites, as it avoids adding bulk to our small frames. Well done.

  5. The lace-up top is so cute! I always try to do the same with staple pieces, they don’t make me feel as guilty if I shell out some extra dollars because I know I’ll get the most use out of them!
