Wall of love in Paris France

I can’t believe it’s been one year since the November 13th, Paris Attacks.

Remembering the Paris Attacks
Reflecting on the Paris November 13th attacks

I’m deeply saddened by the events that took place that night. Today, I pray for those who lost their lives in these horrific attacks, and for their family members.

The world, as well as Paris, has changed since the attacks. On a positive note, the world has united together to stand strong with Paris.

Even after the attacks, I’m happy to live in Paris. If you’re thinking about visiting this lovely place, don’t let what happened a year ago stop you. Paris is a beautiful city, filled with incredible food, great historic sites to visit and wonderful people.

Friends always ask me how I dealt with the attacks or how I have changed. Just remember that an attack can happen any place. Make sure you are aware of your surroundings and make sure that your phone battery is charged. Also, move out of harms way as quickly as possible if an attack does occur.

It’s also important, as soon as you are safe, to contact your loved ones. They will want to know that you’re safe. Aside from a phone call or text, social media can provide another way to stay in touch with family and friends who are concerned for your safety.
