Spring Denim Trends You’ll Go Crazy Over!
This content has been archived. It may no longer be relevant
Your favorite jeans are getting a makeover this season, and we couldn't be loving these trends more. Skinnies are officially passé and the fashion world has moved on to some inspired styles that will make you feel like a million bucks, and then some. I wanted to share with you my absolute favorite spring denim trends for this season, and believe me, there's definitely a little something for everyone!
1. Reworked / Patchwork Jeans
One style I've had my eye on recently is the reworked / patchwork jean look. These jeans throw a nod to vintage styles and have a very raw feel to them which can spice up any outfit without being “too much”. Definitely check out the Levi's Altered Straight Jeans The · Paige Vintage Julia Jeans with Uneven Hem jeans, the Free people Patwork SKinny Jeans, and Nobody Denim Skinny.
2. Raw Hem
I love a great distressed jean, and this style reinvents the classic hole-in-the-knees look by focusing on the hems. The Raw Hem adds a vintage edge to any look and can be easily dressed up or down to fit your personal style. Some of the best Raw Hem jeans include DL1961 Hepburn Jean, Missguided Riot High Waisted Fray Hem Jean, Nasty Gal Tie Up Loose Ends Frayed Jeans, and even forever 21 has some great options
3. Embroidery
This next denim trend is the perfect festival season look and will instantly make your ensemble stand out from the rest. We're talking about embroidery, on jeans, on jackets, on bags, you name it. These beautifully delicate overlays pair perfectly with the rougher look of denim, bringing a gorgeous sense of balance to your look.
4. Cropped Flare
Another look I'm loving lately is the cropped flare. There are a few different styles ranging from bell flares, to distressed helms, to simple high-waisted crops. The key to pulling off this style is to make sure that the jeans hit right above your ankle, and aim for a high-waisted style to highlight your curves. Pair them with some feminine mules or sleek ankle boots.
