One of the summer’s hottest trends is undoubtedly the off the shoulder ruffle top. You’ve been probably been seeing it popping up all over your instagram feed.
I like many other girls I've been coveting over this top and knew I had to order it! It was such a disappointment when it arrived. The three tier sleeves on the left side were just too bulky for my little petite body.  As someone who doesn’t give up easily I was determined to make it work. I tried belting the shirt, pinning the ruffles down, and even tried tapping the ruffles together. When none of that worked, I took to my trusty scissors and simply cut off the third ruffle. The bottom ruffle to be exact. What a huge difference that made. Keep in mind I’m no seamstress, but luckily the other 2 ruffles cover up the cut job. Voila I now have a petite friendly off the shoulder ruffle top.
What I love about this top is that it's a true statement piece, so you are able to pair it with jeans, shorts, or even a skirt. By having the one shoulder bare you are able to show off your summer glow!
