For me, my love of Gucci started at a young age when my grandmother retuned from Italy with a coin purse as a gift for me. I treasured this coin purse for years and as I got older I continued to love and follow the brand. Over the years, I’ve watched the brand evolve and rebrand to become the fashion powerhouse you see today.

Gucci Horsebit Loafer Shoes

Whenever I think about Gucci shoes, I instantly think about that scene in house of Gucci where they constantly make reference to a rare Gucci loafer with gold leaf, designed for Clark Gable. As you know, that was a movie and the while the Gucci Loafer part was true, it didn’t have a gold leaf on the loafer. The Gucci Loafers that I’m talking about that are worth investing in are the timeless ones, the Gucci Horsebit Loafers. Hands down, these are the most timeless Gucci Loafers. The Gucci Horsebit Loafers are known for its chic design, comfortable fit, and the iconic gold Horsebit detail on the front.

What I love about this preppy shoe, is that it can be dressed up or down, and are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The other models are great, but the Horsebit edition is so classic and timeless, I love it. With that being said, the Gucci Loafer Shoes are a staple Gucci piece and worth purchasing. 

Gucci Flora Scarf

No list would be complete of timeless Gucci pieces that are worth investing in without mentioning the infamous Gucci Flora Scarf. I don’t want to jump too much into the history of the Flora Gucci scarf, but essentially, the story goes, that Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco who was a frequent shopper at Gucci, went to Gucci in search of a gift for her friend. She was looking for a floral scarf, and at the time Gucci didn’t make floral scarves. Rodolfo Gucci commissioned, illustrator Vittorio Accornero, to design an iconic floral scarf for Grace Kelly.

That scarf featured a stunning floral print, with inspects, flowers, fruits and 37 different colors. Ahh the Gucci Belt, it should come to no surprise that the Gucci belt made the list of timeless Gucci pieces worth investing in. The Gucci belt made huge waves back in 2017, I felt like every time I logged into Instagram it was a guarantee that I would see at least one influencer wearing an oversized Gucci Belt.

With the smaller size logo Gucci belt, it is a subtle but classy accessory that you can wear with a dress, trench coat, or even with pants.
