To clean the Louis Vuitton Canvas material, all you need is a simple soft cloth for cleaning, soap and water. Damp the cloth into the soapy water and then use a circular motion to remove all the dirt and stains from the bag. Within minutes, you will see all the dirt and stains start to be removed.

It’s super important that you DO NOT use alcohol based solutions, hand sanitizer, or anything with chemicals to clean the canvas!

How to Clean the Louis Vuitton Leather

To clean the Louis Vuitton Leather straps, it’s important that you use a high quality leather conditioner. I use 2 leather conditioners called Cobblers choice and Bick 4 Leather conditioner. I’ve tried several different leather conditioner, and these two are by far my favorite. What I like about these conditioners is that it is wax free, does not darken your leather or change the leather color, cleans and polishes the leather. Make sure you apply the leather conditioner to the soft cloth first and then rub it into the bag.

If you use your Louis Vuitton bag a lot, I would recommend using the leather conditioner every 3–6 months. If you use your LV bag not very often, you only need to use the leather conditioner every 6–12 months. By using the leather conditioner consistently, you will help extend the life of the leather straps and keeping them in top condition for years to come! I clean my Louis Vuitton Neverfull every 6 months.

The inside of a Louis Vuitton bag can get dirty super quickly and it’s important to clean the inside of the Louis Vuitton bag just as much as the outside of the bag. To clean the inside of the bag, I use an unscented, bleach free Clorox wipe. Once I’ve wiped the bag down, then if there are any additional stains inside the bag, I use a soft cloth and soap and water to get the stains out. If you own a Louis Vuitton Neverfull you can simply turn the bag inside out to clean the inside.
