In my opinion, the best part about replacing the Christian Louboutin Red Bottom soles with the official Louboutin cobbler is the way to go. The cobbler will remove completely the original red bottom sole and replace it with a Christian Louboutin rubber like material sole. The Louboutin shop told me this material is made to last and won’t get damaged.

How long does it take to get the Red Bottom Shoes Repaired?
There are many factors that go into how long it takes to get your Christian Louboutin shoes repaired at the official Louboutin cobbler. These factors include, how many people are in front of you in line and what type of repair needs to be done.
For reference my shoes were dropped off July 18th and were done on July 29th. In short it took 11 days for my Christian Louboutin shoes to be repaired. I had the sole's replaced, the heel fixed, and new heel tips added.
It’s important to note that the cobbler is closed in August for holiday, but the Christian Louboutin shop next to the cobbler will still accept the shoes to be repaired.
What if I live in the USA can I still get my Christian Louboutin shoes repaired in Paris?
If you live in the USA you can still get your Christian Louboutin shoes repaired in Paris. It will definitely cost more because you have to pay for shipping both ways. When Christian Louboutin ships the shoes back to you in the USA they don’t declare the original amount of the shoes they only declare the cost to repair it. AKA don’t worry about paying a VAT tax.
If you are traveling to Paris for a short period of time, but live in the USA, you can drop the shoes off at the shop and they can ship the shoes to you internationally.
This is not a guarantee, but if you drop them off the first day you’re in Paris and tell the Christian Louboutin store you are only there for a few days or a week they might be able to do a rush delivery for you. It doesn’t hurt to ask.
I did see on the Christian Louboutin USA website, there are recommended shoe repair shops in NYC. I cannot speak about those locations as I’ve only been to the Paris location to repair my shoes.
