Step 1: Clean the Nylon Material with Soap and Water

What I love about the Nylon Prada bag is how easy it is to clean from home. All you need to use is a little bit of soap and water in a bowl, and a soft cloth to clean the bag. Dip your soft cloth into the soap and water, and in a circular motion clean the Nylon surface of the Prada bag. The Nylon on the Prada bag is very similar to the Nylon on a Longchamp bag and one of the easiest materials to clean at home.

Step 2: Clean the Cloth Handles with Soap and Water

The Nylon Prada bag straps are made of cloth and because of that you will need to use soap and water to clean these straps. On the straps I find that you have to scrub a little harder to remove stains. Sometimes dirt can get wedged in between where the two pieces of fabric comes together, so make sure you pull the fabric apart to get all the dirt.

Step 3: Polish and Clean the Prada Emblem

The Prada Emblem on the Nylon bag also needs to be clean. Use the leather cleaner, Bick 4 Leather conditioner to clean the small portion of leather, and run the cloth along the leather portion of the emblem. Once that has dried, then take a tiny bit of soap and water to clean the emblem.

Step 4: Let the bag dry

After you are done cleaning the Nylon, handles, and Prada emblem the next step is you are going to let the Prada Nylon bag air dry. Don't use a hairdryer to speed along the process, this could cause damage to your bag. Once your bag is dry, make sure you inspect the bag to ensure it’s fully clean.

Final thoughts on Cleaning Prada Nylon Bag

It’s really important that you spend the time to clean your Prada Nylon bag because they are extremely hard to repair if they become damaged. I highly recommend that every 6–12 months you clean the bag to ensure it stays in good shape. Plus by keeping it clean and taking care of your bag you will be able to retain its value more. I’d love to hear in the comments how do you clean your Prada Nylon Bag?

Diane

Great question, use anything with that has Acid Dyes. Some of the more popular ones include Jacquard Acid Dyes & Dharma Acid Dyes. Hope that helps!
