Easily the most popular, famous gluten-free bakery in Paris is Boulangerie Chambelland, which is known for their famous gluten-free breads. My personal favorite is the grains bread, which also happens to be their bestseller. Everything I’ve tried at Chambelland has been mouth watering delicious. Even if you aren't someone who is gluten-free I highly recommend visiting Chambelland. What’s great about Chambelland is that they have an entire menu of gluten-free options beyond just the typical bread and pastries. Currently, there are 3 different locations in Paris.

The first ever gluten-free bakery in Paris was Helmut Newcake, which is known for it's sweet treats including éclairs. I always love indulging in restaurants and bakeries that are pioneering the food industry, so when I heard this was the first gluten-free bakery I had to go!  Helmut Newcake is known for their remarkable chocolate hazelnut éclair, and let me be the first to tell you it’s absolutely delicious. It’s full of flavor, the perfect amount of sweetness, the cream is to die for, and the chocolate was amazing. If you are looking to indulge in the first ever gluten-free bakery in Paris that has a loyal following, then I definitely recommend Helmut Newcake.

If you are looking for a gluten-free place to satisfy your sweet tooth craving, then I definitely recommend Yummy & Guiltfree. This incredible waffle bar is tucked away in the 12th arrondissement and offers some of the most incredible waffles I ever had. They carry a variety of waffles from sweet to savory in order to satisfy everyone. I’m a sweet lover, so I always indulge in the waffle with Madagascar vanilla cream. What is great about these waffle treats is that they are made on a stick, making it easy to eat on the go or outside when you are walking around Paris

Copains Paris is your traditional French gluten-free bakery. They carry both breads and pastries. Over the past few years, they have grown in popularity because of their delicious pastries and bread, and high quality ingredients. Founded by 2 friends who wanted to create a healthy bakery alternative, today, Copains has 5 locations in Paris. I highly recommend Copains if you are looking for simple, traditional, tasty gluten-free pastries or bread. My favorite treat to indulge in at Copains is the Leo – New York Roll in chocolate.

As someone who loves sweets, if I only had time to visit one gluten-free bakery in Paris, I would definitely indulge in Yummy & Guiltfree. Hands down, this is my favorite place to satisfy my sweet craving of waffles. Yummy & Guiltfree doesn’t have much of a seating area, they do a great job of serving customers quickly so you don’t have to wait in line very long. I love finding a bench in Paris to sit down and relax and enjoy my Yummy & Guiltfree waffle.

Hi, this is a great article, and timely! I am a dietitian and chef and teach cooking classes that are gluten and dairy free. I’m leading a small group to France next year on a food enthusiasts tour that accommodates gluten and dairy free options.
My main problem is getting the word out about this tour to those who avoid gluten and dairy.
I’ve run my private practice/medical clinic for 16 years so digital marketing is proving a steep learning curve. However, writing a blog has been recommended and I’m giving it a try.
With permission, I’d like to link (or is it called a backlink?) your gluten free bakeries in Paris page in my new blog. I’d appreciate for any feedback!
