In short, yes, I think Christain Louboutin bags are worth the price! Christian Louboutin bags are edgy, unique, high quality and are definitely built to last. The attention to detail and the leather quality is remarkable. Christian Louboutin is known for his impeccable shoe designs and edgy look, the handbags he creates are no different.
Personally, I have 2 in my collection, one small crossbody bag (Sweet Charity bag) and one giant bag (The Eloise bag). I often find myself wearing my Christian Louboutin bags. As someone who owns many bags, my Christian Louboutin bags have held up remarkably over the last 5 years. Shockingly, the price point isn’t as high as one might assume!

I love how Christian Louboutin is always expanding and pushing the envelope. Recently, I wrote a review about the Christian Louboutin perfume I got a few months ago, but did you know he also has a makeup line, iconic lipsticks, nail polishes that mimic the red bottom color. How cool is that?
Price point of Christian Louboutin bags?
One thing that often surprises people is the price point of the Christian Louboutin bags. Retail price of Christian Louboutin bags start at $590 and vintage Christian Louboutin bags start at $330. One thing that’s important to note, is that Christian Louboutin shops often sell out of the handbags due to the relatively lower price point for a designer bag. However, they do a great selection of their handbags that can be purchased from Nordstrom, Saks, or even directly on their website.
Personally, I find the price point fair and on the more affordable end for luxury handbags, especially on the second hand market.

I have so many questions from people asking which brands are cheaper in Paris, I’ve written tons of articles about this topic. But in short, any brand that is made in Europe is cheaper in Europe than the USA due to shipping cost, import tax, and state tax. In addition, if you purchase anything from Christian Louboutin in Paris, you will get the extra VAT tax back…which mean an additional 12% refund!
With that being said, Yes, Christian Louboutin is cheaper in Paris, depending on the bag and the material used it can be anywhere from a hundred dollars to upwards of a thousand. Keep that in mind on your next shopping trip to Paris! Or Europe for that matter.
